Tully Hose Co.#1 Open House at the Fire Station
Tully Hose Co#1 is inviting everyone to come to the Tully Fire Station (1 Railroad St, Tully) for an Open House event.
Each year in April, the Firefighters Association of the State of New York (FASNY) hosts a Recruit NY Campaign to help all of the volunteer fire departments throughout NYS build up their membership. History and facts show that 70% of all fire departments in the US are Volunteer. Many small towns/villages rely on their neighbors volunteering to help other neighbors when there is an emergency.
Do you want to do more for your Tully community? Want to make a difference? We here at Tully Fire & EMS and Tully Fire Junior/Explorer/RAM’s are looking for Men, Women, Boys and Girls (14+) to join.
Come on down to the Fire Station on April 14th, from 10am-1pm, as we will have:
* The Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office helping give information about their Project Lifesaver Program, informational brochures and more.
* The Onondaga County Volunteer Firefighter’s Association – OCVFA Fire and Life safety education trailer on site to help demonstrate Exit Drills In The Home and information on fire safety.
* The American Red Cross Emergency Response Vehicle and information on what the Red Cross can help you with when there is a fire, mudslide, flood, or other natural disasters.
