David Prince
Captain Prince began his fire service with the Tully Hose Company #1 and was one of a handful from Tully to be the first of students to attend and complete the Cortland County Regional Training Academy’s new Bootcamp program. Captain Prince has become a leader to the Tully membership. He has rose through the ranks of Lieutenant to Captain and is the President of the Tully Hose Company. Captain Prince is instrumental in facilitating weekly training drills for the volunteer membership. He is a life long resident of Tully and brings vital community connections and networking to the fire department when resources are needed.
Outside of Tully, Captain Prince is a full time Emergency Medical Technician with the Marcellus Ambulance Volunteer Emergency Services, Inc. (MAVES) and Skaneateles Ambulance Volunteer Emergency Service (SAVES). He enjoys to spend time with his wife, daughter and son camping and at their camp along the St. Lawrence River. Captain Prince’s wife, Susan, is a firefighter and the Treasurer for the Tully Hose Company. His daughter is also a member of Tully and is a Nurse in Syracuse. His son, Josh, began his own fire service career with the Tully Hose Company #1 and is now a career firefighter for the City of Cortland.
