Benjamin Bibik
Captain Ben Bibik is a third generation firemen. Ben has been in the fire service since 1985 when he became a Junior with Pompey Hill Fire Department. Upon completing his training in 1992, he came a full member of the PHFD. After moving around the country, he returned to the area and settled in Tully and became a member of the Tully Hose Company #1 in 2012. Captain Bibik currently holds the position of Captain, is one of the public relations officers, is a public education representative, and is one of the few trained safety officers. In addition to the Tully Hose Company, Ben holds positions in NYSAFE as Vice President, is a member of the Onondaga County Volunteer Firefighters Association (OCVFA), and NYS Fire Chiefs Association.
Outside, of the fire department, Captain Bibik works for Innovative Operations Technology as a lead programmer and architect. He enjoys to spend time with his wife, three daughters, and two sons. His sons, Charles and Lucas, are also firefighters within the Tully Hose Company as well as his youngest daughter, Katelyn, who is a Junior Firefighter.
