Timothy Baker

Lieutenant Tim Baker began his fire service with the Tully Hose Company #1 and was one of a handful from Tully to be the first of students to attend and complete the Cortland County Regional Training Academy’s new Bootcamp program. Lieutenant Baker is a vital leader to the Tully Hose Company. He has rose through the ranks from Lieutenant to Captain and continues to help lead weekly training drills among the volunteer membership. Lt. Baker is a Traffic Incident Management instructor along with his previous expertise with the New York Department of Transpiration it has proven vital with incidents that occur on our busy country roads and Interstate 81 that passes through Tully.

Outside of the Tully Fire Department, Lt. Baker works for the New York State Thruway Authority and is an Independent Resource with a Type II Incident Management Team where he manages staging and resources during national emergencies across the United States. Hurricane Helene and the wildfires in Wyoming, are among just a few disasters he has help efforts with. Lieutenant Baker enjoys traveling and camping with his wife and family.
